Our Pitch

Image
Hello, t he following are pitches my friends and I have come up with for the upcoming short film we are making in which I will be the lead actor.   Pitch A: "A high school girl goes to get snacks at a corner store to get some snacks, but who's watching?" Pitch B: "A professional soccer player joins a new team, but the coach is nothing like he expected." Yes?No?-(Pitch A):  As the lead actor of our upcoming short film, I am thrilled to share a pitch for the intense narrative that will unfold in our possible project , "In the Shadows." The story revolves around a 16-year-old high school girl, portrayed by our friend Sarah, who embarks on a seemingly ordinary trip to a corner store for snacks. The atmosphere quickly takes a chilling turn as Sarah's character becomes the unsuspecting target of a sinister kidnapper, played by me, Brayden, her real-life close friend. My Group

Hello everyone! It's tough working on filming all alone, which is why I am working in a group for this assignment. I am also working in a little bit of a different group than last year. Nevertheless, let’s get into who’s with me in this group. One of the members from my AS level group, Luke, decided he did not want to continue with A level media, so he moved on to other classes. However, I have gained a new group member, Riley, whom I have never worked with before. Riley is very intelligent, and has a very high work ethic which will benefit the group in several ways. He also owns a camera which can help the group record a higher quality film in comparison to using a phone. In my group, we also have Elton who is a very bright worker. He has a lot of knowledge and knows how to maintain the role of taking charge in the group. I will mostly be following his lead from

Welcome Back!

Hello everyone! My name is Brayden Parke.  I am so glad to now be in A Level Media and I can truly say that I am extremely excited not only to learn about film but to be able to create film too. Over the past couple months I have made a habit of watching at least one film every day. Up to now I have watched about 150 different films, anything from (Kids) to (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas). I believe that watching an abundance of films has expanded my knowledge and understanding of different perceptions of ideas. Apart from my love of film I will go over other things I indulge in. I love the sport of soccer. I try to play at least once or twice a week and love to watch the Champions League. I also enjoy photography and creating special shots. Another huge component of my life is skateboarding. Skateboarding has had lasting impacts on me. Everything from they way I dress, the music I listen to, the movies I enjoy, and my dedication to school has been in some way effected and improved th
