  First Scene-    An establishing shot of the actor at the beach. The actor is wearing a Christmas hat and holding a stocking to influence the Christmas theme of our video.    Second Scene-    The actor is being filmed sitting on the bench with a Christmas present happy . This shot is taken at a low angle and portrays the actor as big and overjoyed. They're kicking their feet to the song.   Third Scene-    We track the actor to a reverse zoom shot then where the actor is walking backward on the sidewalk. We zoom in as the actor is doing this to emphasize the action and the Christmas feeling the song creates.   Fourth Scene-    Pans to a wide angle of large reindeer in front of the mall, the actor is walking in front of it to capture the Christmas vibe.   Fifth Scene-   Wide shot of actor on escalator overjoyed to be at the mall, the Macy's entrance near Starbucks is where the actor will go into the mall from.   Sixth Scene-    The actor pulls fake snowflakes out of their pocket

 In order to take the next steps for our music video, our group has started a discussion in terms of production. Our group decided on the song “All Want for christmas" by Mariah Carey. We want to really nail the Christmas theme on this video, at least to the best of our ability. Living in a tropical state like Florida means we will more than likely not be including snow in our video. In terms of props we plan on using Christmas stockings, Jingle bells, missile toes and Christmas theme socks and shirts. Due to the nature of our music video, our group will have to go to multiple filming locations. Our central filming location will be done at Las Olas. Having the filming location done at las Olas is a great idea because we feel it perfectly encapsulates a south Florida Christmas. All the components are there, the beach, the amount of decreation and people and the spirit the city brings. Our secondary filming location will be galleria mall.  To shoot a Christmas music video, we have to see what a Christmas music video on the professional level looks like. So to do research for the music video we plan on shooting, we searched for Christmas music videos on youtube. The first music video we watched is the inspiration for this music video. We watched Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas" Music video. Now believe it or not, we had not watched the music video for this iconic song until this day. There are very notable things to tell about the music video. With some substantial knowledge of filing angles and editing, We could pick apart pieces of the music video where we could infer what the director thought when they planned out some shots. To begin, the music video starts with an establishing shot showing trees covered in snow with no leaves that seem to have been shot outside of a car window. The director does this to establish the music video's theme that starts with the starting jingles of the song. Th

 Welcome back to my blog! For the upcoming assignment, the music video, I have chosen to be in a group with Elton and Luke. In the last project, the commercial, we were all in the same group aswell. In the commercial we worked well together through communication and time management. That is the reason we decided to work in the same group again. Today all group members joined a call to talk about the song  selection. The conversation was great. On top of choosing a song we collectively talked about all of our worries and solved them. My group decided not only the genre of music we would choose but also the exact song. For this music video my group and I have decided to make a christmas themed music video.   My name is Brayden Parke and I can truly say that I am extremely excited not only to learn about music videos and film but to be able to create a whole video purely based on music. Now that my group and I have had some experience in film making from the first project I am intrigued to see our progress in creating media. Over the past couple months I have made a habit of watching at least one film every day. Up to now I have watched about 150 different films, anything from (Kids) to (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas). I believe that watching an abundance of films has expanded my knowledge and understanding of different perceptions of ideas. I have also been trying to expand my knowledge of music by listening to genres I normally would not listen to. Apart from my love of film and music I will go over other things I indulge in. I love the sport of soccer. I try to play at least once or twice a week and love to watch the Champions League. I also enjoy photography and creating special shot
